WISE WORDS

"The beauty of community theatre is that it is the people's theatre. It is your friends and neighbors sharing a passion."
- Ruth Legg, Geneva, NY

About Us

The Rosedale Community Players would like to thank you for viewing our website. RCP have been producing quality community theatre since 1969 and we hope to continue in this rich tradition for many years to come.

The Rosedale Community Players is a volunteer group who produce a wide variety of plays each and every year and draws members and patrons from the entire Greater Metro Detroit Areas. We have about 5 meetings of our members each year and love to socialize outside the theatre on other occasions with a winter holiday party, a golf outing in the fall, a Bar-b-q in the summer and afterglows to finish the run of a play. Membership dues are a low $25.00, $15.00 for people 62 or older and 18 and under. Membership meetings are scheduled for October, March, and May - dates and times to be announced.

Our group is also available to do a theatrical presentation for your meetings or parties. Consider us when you’re looking for a fundraiser for your organization either at our site or yours.

Volunteering with a community theatre is fun and rewarding. Acting is just one aspect of our group. Building and painting sets, costumes, make-up and props are just some of the backstage challenges. Creating programs, flyers, picture boards, tickets, marketing and publicity are some of the business challenges. No previous experience is required. All that is required is some time and enthusiasm.
